Amazon has announced a new risk manager role in logistics claims management, based in New York and other locations. This position is part of the Delivery Service Partner Offer and Expansion team.

According to Amazon Jobs, the Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Offer & Expansion team operates under Amazon’s Last Mile Product and Technology organization. It oversees the global DSP program’s strategy and execution. As part of this effort, Amazon’s Logistics Claims Management team is seeking a risk manager to focus on auto physical damage claims and the performance of third-party administrators (TPAs). The position involves developing tools and programs to manage costs, maintaining claims processes for large transportation fleets, and handling both litigated and non-litigated claims efficiently.

The responsibilities for this role include managing commercial auto claims related to trucking and transportation, collaborating with TPAs and insurers to improve outcomes, and ensuring compliance through audits and vendor partnerships. The position requires at least three years of experience in auto liability and property damage claims, leadership in claims management, and a valid property and casualty adjuster’s license. Preferred qualifications include fleet claims experience, auditing expertise, and industry certifications such as ARM (Associate in Risk Management), AIC (Associate in Claims), or CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter). The role offers a compensation range of $66,800 to $142,800 annually, depending on location, with potential domestic travel up to 25 percent.
