Amazon has announced a senior business development manager position for Amazon Shipping in New York, NY. The role is aimed at leading an initiative to transform shipping and logistics by driving growth, scaling operations, and enhancing customer service.

According to Amazon Jobs, the company is seeking a candidate who will collaborate with Product Management and Tech teams to develop customer-focused solutions. It emphasizes launching new programs from inception and making a significant business impact.

The responsibilities of the position include generating sales across a range of customers, driving revenue, adoption, and market share. The manager will also analyze performance metrics, provide customer feedback to internal teams, set and track program goals, manage risks, and achieve targets for product and feature adoption. The role requires experience in business agreements as well as professional or military experience. The base salary ranges from $133,200 to $220,200 depending on location.
