The Indian Point Decommissioning Oversight Board (DOB) will hold a virtual public meeting on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The DOB was established by the New York State Department of Public Service following a directive issued on December 31, 2020. Its role is to provide a platform for sharing information among agencies involved in the decommissioning process, identify issues for oversight agencies to address, and inform the public about matters related to decommissioning and spent fuel management.
The upcoming meeting will include presentations and updates regarding the ongoing decommissioning of Indian Point. Members of the public are invited to attend virtually via Zoom using Webinar ID 870 7329 1913 and passcode 893835. Phone-only access is available by dialing 1-929-205-6099 with access code 893835.
Anyone wishing to deliver a statement during the meeting must pre-register by noon on February 10, 2026. The agenda for the meeting and related documents will be posted in advance on the Department’s website at www.dps.ny.gov under “File Search” by entering case number “21-01188.”
Public statements concerning the scope and goals of the DOB can be made during a designated 30-minute portion of the meeting.
