Jill Weissman, a Long Island entrepreneur and founder of Beyond the Bib, credits Amazon’s small business resources with supporting her success as a business owner and enhancing her company’s growth. This statement was made during an interview.
“Amazon really sets small businesses up for success with a full suite of resources,” said Weissman, Founder and CEO. “Seller University is a tool I’ve used from the very beginning.”
The Enthuse Foundation collaborates with Amazon to aid women entrepreneurs through grants and programming. According to the foundation, its initiatives provide funding, mentorship, and community resources that assist women-led businesses in expanding. The program emphasizes founders who introduce innovative products to the market.
Amazon reports that independent sellers have generated over $2.5 trillion in sales over the past 25 years. More than 60% of Amazon’s storewide sales are attributed to small and medium-sized businesses. These sellers contribute significantly to job creation and offer new products to customers throughout the Tri-State area.
Beyond the Bib specializes in creating nutrient-dense sauces and dips designed for toddlers and young children. The company prioritizes simple ingredient lists and flavors that support early childhood nutrition. More than half of its total sales are derived from Amazon’s online marketplace.
Weissman is a Long Island mother of two and serves as the Founder and CEO of Beyond the Bib. She oversees product development, brand strategy, and growth initiatives for her children’s food company. Weissman received a grant from Amazon and the Enthuse Foundation to support her business expansion.
