Pace University will hold its sixth annual Social Justice Week during the week of October 26, 2025. The event is organized as a memorial for Danroy “DJ” Henry, a former Pace student, and serves to reinforce the university’s commitment to social justice and anti-racism.
The week-long initiative encourages original programming that aligns with principles of equity and justice. It aims to engage students, staff, faculty, departments, and student organizations from all three Pace campuses in educational activities and discussions focused on social justice issues.
According to organizers, Social Justice Week is intended as “a community-driven effort,” designed to create spaces that address white supremacy and other forms of oppression. The goal is to foster meaningful dialogue and action within the university community.
Members of the Pace community interested in hosting an event can find more information or apply through the provided link. Applications are due by September 26. Those seeking funding for their events must submit their applications by September 22.
