Pace University announced on April 1 that registration for the Fall 2025 semester is now open, addressing common myths and providing clear instructions to help students register with confidence.

The university said that understanding the registration process is important for students to secure their preferred classes and stay on track academically. Pace provided information to clarify misconceptions about when tuition is due, how schedules can be changed, and who needs to meet with advisors before registering.

According to Pace, tuition and fees for the Fall 2025 semester are not due until August 1, so students do not need to pay immediately upon registering. The university also said that students can adjust their schedules through the first week of classes, allowing flexibility even after early registration. While first-year students must consult with advisors or UNV 101 instructors before registering, sophomores through seniors and graduate students may register as long as there are no financial or admissions holds on their accounts.

Pace stated that the registration process is straightforward and resources such as a student registration guide are available online. The university encouraged early registration because popular courses tend to fill up quickly, which could limit options for those who wait. Requests from students asking professors to add them into closed classes often cannot be accommodated due to classroom capacity limits.

Students unsure about next semester were advised by Pace that it is still best to register early; they can drop classes if plans change or take a leave of absence in consultation with an advisor. Advisor information can be found on Degree Works pages or within student profiles in the portal.

To register, Pace recommends logging into the Portal, checking status for any holds or prerequisites, planning schedules using Degree Works and following step-by-step guides provided by the Registrar’s office.
