Pace University President Marvin Krislov has shared a message highlighting the institution’s ongoing initiatives and achievements as the fall semester progresses.
Krislov noted that Pace is witnessing strong engagement across classrooms, laboratories, student projects, and community programs. “We roll up our sleeves. We get to work. And we create opportunities through research, creative exploration, civic engagement, and a deep commitment to our students and one another,” he said.
He encouraged staff and faculty to participate in upcoming Community Conversations—events designed for in-person reflection and discussion—as well as Homecoming activities that will bring alumni, families, and friends back to campus.
The university is continuing its focus on civic participation with the launch of Pace Votes 2025. This initiative aims to provide resources for voter registration, on-campus voting, and engagement events to ensure broad participation within the university community.
President Krislov also announced that 34 Pace students have been selected as UN Millennium Fellows this year—the highest number in the university’s history. These students are working on local projects addressing global issues. “These exceptional students are addressing global challenges through local action and embodying the Pace mission to make a difference,” Krislov stated.
Looking ahead, preparations are underway for Commencement 2025. Nominations are open for Commencement speakers and for the Opportunitas in Action Award, which recognize individuals who exemplify university values and inspire others within the community. Krislov encouraged nominations of leaders whose contributions can motivate next year’s graduating class.
“Thank you, as always, for being part of this remarkable community. I look forward to seeing what we do next,” Krislov concluded.
