As the spring semester begins, Pace University President Marvin Krislov has shared a message with the university community, highlighting recent developments and upcoming events.

President Krislov acknowledged several significant moments for Pace, including the arrival of a new provost this semester. He also noted preparations underway for both the State of the University Address and Commencement. These events are described as opportunities for reflection on the university’s progress and future direction.

Krislov expressed appreciation to students, families, faculty, and staff for their patience during move-in weekend, which was affected by difficult winter weather conditions. He thanked everyone for their flexibility and commitment to supporting one another.

During the winter break, President Krislov met with study abroad students and faculty in Paris. He described this experience as “a powerful reminder of how global experiences broaden perspective and deepen learning.” In addition, he represented Pace at the World Economic Forum in Davos. There, he participated in discussions on sustainability, higher education, and shared responsibility. Krislov emphasized his efforts to promote “the work our faculty are doing to advance practical solutions to complex global challenges.”

He mentioned that further information about Pace’s contributions toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals is available in this month’s issue of Pace Now. The publication also features coverage of campus events such as the upcoming State of the University Address, student learning experiences related to relationship science during Valentine’s season, stories on faculty leadership and alumni achievements, and opportunities for engagement across campus.

“I hope you’ll explore the issue and join us as we move confidently into the semester ahead,” wrote President Krislov.
