Queen One opens Brooklyn headquarters with plans for job creation

Governor Kathy Hochul attended the opening of Queen One’s new global headquarters, the Rise and Fly Vision Centre, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The facility, located at 25 Kent Avenue and spanning over 30,000 square feet, will act as the company’s main center for innovation and e-commerce development. The project involves a capital investment exceeding $10 million and is projected to create 600 full-time technology jobs in New York City within five years. It also includes an estimated $67 million investment in research and development.

Governor Hochul stated, “New York’s tech sector is thriving, and Queen One’s expansion in Brooklyn is proof that innovation and opportunity continue to rise here in the Empire State. The Rise and Fly Vision Centre represents the next chapter of New York’s e-commerce leadership — blending technology, creativity, and community to create hundreds of high-quality jobs and cutting-edge solutions that will shape the digital economy for years to come.”

Queen One received support through up to $6 million in performance-based Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits from Empire State Development (ESD), contingent on job creation targets.

The launch comes amid ongoing growth within New York City’s tech industry; since 2021 nearly 35,000 new tech jobs have been created statewide while more than 2,000 artificial intelligence startups are now based within city limits. The number of tech businesses across New York has grown by 30 percent since then—now totaling over 31,400—with job creation rates outpacing other sectors locally.

Strategic expansions by firms such as OpenAI, Duolingo, StubHub along with investments from Figma, Rippling, Rokt,and Quadrature highlight continued momentum within New York’s technology ecosystem.

Empire State Development operates as New York’s main economic development agency supporting business growth throughout all regions via programs like Regional Economic Development Councils as well as broadband equity initiatives through ConnectALL.

Queen One describes itself as a brand technology platform designed to drive revenue generation for commerce brands globally by connecting technical teams under one roof at its new headquarters.
